9. Locate a few useful library related blogs and/or news feeds

Public libraries have been using RSS feeds to help keep their patrons informed of activities at their library.  Here are a few that are working very well.

New York Public Library http://www.nypl.org/rss/

Kansas City Public Library http://www.kclibrary.org/rss

This links all patrons to follow city information, what to read, what books are being published, etc..

Look for Bettendorf Public Library to add more RSS feeds as we update our web presence to 2.0 technology.
